Falmouth/Truro marinas

I will have to leave the boat there until the next available weekend to continue sailing east.

What would be you recomemmeded best option for marinas or mooriings?

Mylor or one of several around Falmouth.

If you are looking for something less expensive then speak to Truro harbour authority as they have three mid river pontoons where you could leave a boat, no services though. There is one up near Malpas which gives east access in to Truro. Contact Malpas Marine about leaving your dinghy safely in their yard.

Thanks. I am paying fees to the Truro Harbour anyway as they manage also St Ives Harbour. I will give them a call tomorrow and find out.

If I hadn’t just had my mooring up the river from Mylor ‘sunk’ for the first winter you could have used that, assuming you are no more than 38ft.

I wish I had a 38ft... but still happy on my 28ft.

You could try Freemans Wharf Boatyard or Leisure marina, moorings, boat park and public slipway | Falmouth Haven

Truro HM has moorings as far down river as Mylor in addition to those nearer Truro, or you could try Welcome to Falmouth Harbour in Cornwall - UK's Atlantic Gateway. , Falmouth Boat Co. | or Mylor Yacht Harbour Cornwall
