I am just starting a re-fit and want to fit an Axiom touch screen inside the wheelhouse - shouldn't ever get too cold or wet in there, probably an Axiom + 9. For outside I was thinking tablet - but which one? Do they all link to Raymarine Axiom or do I need something fancy to link then up? This is on a Nauticat 33 where probably the only time we will navigate outside is in and out of harbour and a screen is very useful for checking AIS and chart detail of marinas etc
I did consider the Element and saw all the comments about a basic budget unit - but maybe for our sailing that would work ok too?
What should I go for - haven't bought anything yet.
