Is there still enough water below Richmond to take a small cruiser into London ? . Only a few weeks ago i saw pictures of very little water around Isleworth area .
Richmond locky will advise on depths if you ask him nicely. Note that there are now port hand cans below Richmond, they are not odd bits of litter!
If you go out of the barrier at Richmond at HW+2, just before it closes, you should get plenty of water in the river, plenty of ebb to get you down and the first few hours of the flood (strongest flow) to wash you back up.
Only 18 " so not a problem for me but from the picture i saw there was no clear way through , just a trickle of water .
I only want to go up for a few hours and come back with the incomming tide just to see how Cuchilo handles it . Used to go up there all the time on Seaspray , Its FUN ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
shouldnt be a problem as long as you stay center stream but would advise to be in the richmond to chiswick stretch no longer than 3 hrs after high tide to be on safe side
