What wet sanding kit did you use? I see you used 800 grit. I thought most heavy cut compounds remove 1200 grit sanding marks.
I have a heavily oxidised Broom I need to wet sand. Was thinking of getting some 1200 discs for my DA polisher. Then Menzerna 300 or 400 followed by polish

150mm Mirka Abranet on a thick interface pad using a DA. It’s probably closer to a 1200 as the design and pad softens it a lot.

The net stuff clears easily. I also use car wash / wax solution to wet as it holds the dust / dirt in suspension better and lubricates.

Thanks Mr, I used the coarser Abranet discs to sand a kitchen worktop recently and they were really good. I have been looking into the Abranet and Abralon discs for wet sanding my superstructure. I’ll look into the interface pad too.
My collection of polishing kit is taking over my garage.

Do those legs just fold up and you drive around with them or do you remove them and store them on board or ashore ?

It can be seen in a pic on page 1 of this thread.

How do you anti-foul where your support chocks are? When it's lifted on the crane there's barely any time for it to dry before it hits the water.
to be fair to Seacock……the Sunseeker logo is missing currently. Took them off to do the stripes. £60 for a pair of new ones! Scandalous

Don’t bother! It’s on the undersides. Next time out….put the chocks somewhere else ?

Well done mate. She looks lovely. Now get her in the water. Lets see if that green paint and go faster stripes deliver the promised performance.
