to be fair to Seacock……the Sunseeker logo is missing currently. Took them off to do the stripes. £60 for a pair of new ones! Scandalous

Don’t bother! It’s on the undersides. Next time out….put the chocks somewhere else ?
Just paint it when it’s in the slings. It dries ok under water, plenty of people do it every year.

Engines and outdrives finished and ready. Ran up again today. Bother pre filters empty. I don’t think I did the tops up tight enough. We shall see next time round. I’ll have to look at my pipe routing as the filters are at the highest point. Might need a rethink but let’s see. Could be the facor factor ?

When in and out of gear no problem so that’s another test passed. Changed the sc oil too as I forgot to do that. Adjusted the belts and no more squeaking ?

Looking good MrG, moving the prefilters would be worth it. If they are too high it makes bleeding/filling etc a pain. Easier if they are lower down then they self fill from the fuel tank even if the fuel level is low.

Yeah…..I had a leak on one of the new hoses at the lift pump so that explains one side But not sure on the other. I’ve done them loads tighter so let’s see. I don’t mind them being higher but when I fill them……the fuel drains away from the bowl immediately. Think I need to get the hose higher on the other side of the bulk head….like a vent loop

How much fuel is in the tank(s)? I think you have an air leak in the pipe work/pre filter. The T handle should only be a good hand tight. I have heard on some facors they are not finished off especially well and can have spiky bits in the rim/seal areas that need to be filed off. Is there an O ring on the T handle that screws the lid down? Did you use a liquid thread sealant on the pipe connectors? Check the banjo fittings either side of the fuel lift pump too. One of mine was ever so slightly loose and fuel would run back - but over a few months.

Yeah….need to check the fuel tank…could well be leaking there. Awkward to reach and see but not impossible. used A bit of pipe tape on the threads. Will take apart and do again]
top edge is smooth and using Racor seals
