I asked the mods to take it down.....I started the thread as a comedy vehicle....then it took a dark turn....and some nefarious character tried to jump on board. Enough was enough

As we're in thick fog here in Staffordshire, I was hoping Rummy might have posted some Caribbean sunshine to cheer me up but not seen Doug post for ages

We set off for our post lunch walk and low and behold the end of the pontoon is broken off…storm damage….couldn’t jump the gap with the dog as he’s getting unsteady on his feet.
So we tried to move the boat but the slime lines were either broken or the neighboring boats had hogged them for themselves.
After two attempts we gave up and are heading home
