You can bypass the pressure switch and install a whale in line pressure switch. I had same problem as you, the Whale switch fixed it.

I think the current situation is that if you’re subscription expires you loose access to the chart areas you downloaded.

Has this IPad had any sort of internet connection in the period since Garmin took over Navionics?

To the OP, if cockpit sole is high enough (relative to waterline) can you not raise the drain outlets above the waterline and seal off...
