Haven't had a sunset like this for ages, Saturday evening.

Yes, it was a great sunset - nice photo.

Saw similar from Sparkes (been down to see RogerRats fantastic new toy) - but had left my camera on our boat.

Really must get a decent camera, it cost about £30.00 from Argos, mind you when I see what Fred does with a good one perhaps I should reconsider! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice picture alec!

Had a similar view in maidstone on friday evening when i left work. But the backdrop of Upper Stone Street instead of the river doesnt make for such an interesting picture...

ollacks to you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Funny thing was that sunset was topic of conversation at my usual Sunday evening pub meet. Made a change from the normal 3 hour whinge about how hard times are now what with only half a dozen foreign holidays a year, the price of mooring in Majorca and do you know how much a ski pass cost in Vail this year! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Anyway call that a sunset......
Now this IS a sunset

That first boat on the left, wouldn't be a Picton (Dominator) called Clarissa would it? I sold it 7 years ago and last saw it for sale at Cuxton where we had a mooring for a couple of years.

Ahem ...a shot from "my" boat on a river not entirely like the Merdeway.

Could that be Sheerness just over the horizon?
