Adding to my 'toys' ..... Cherry Picker.

My only offering is that if the OP has indoor storage for it then it won’t deteriorate further.

Could be a sort of portable Flight Control Tower too🤩
I think you are right....Refueler could tow it down to the local remote control aircraft club meet...and they would pay him to use it

Man maths says that eg after a storm when you and the world want to hire one to put a few roof tiles back, they’re all booked…

Bargain innit!

Even larger commercial lifters have outriggers ... even those fitted to large purpose designed trucks with counterweights !!

You're missing my point. Yes, there are larger machines with outriggers and jacks. These are not relying on counterweights. They also have interlocks so the machine can't be operated until it is set up correctly. The little thing you showed has simple manual outriggers which need to be used properly - every time. It isn't fool-proof.

It actually has interlock switches on each outrigger. The machine will not activate until the outriggers are extended and set .....

We actually considered that it may have been one switch stopping us testing the machine - but all switches were engaged correctly ... it was basically the batterys were dead.

... I am unfortunately lined up to see a physiopsychotherapist so imaginary boats and decks will have to wait abound
Fixed that for you

As for the OP, if you have the space and the money then tools like this are really useful to have around - there's loads of little jobs that you wouldn't hire one for but that are much easier if you have the kit. My digger is in the same bracket - good to have.

I have all sorts of tools .. mini excavator ... flatbed van with 1ton HIAB ... as you say - having is so convenient and many jobs get done that without - you'd question whether you'd do them.
