It's looking tough at the moment though; used the flood to good effect to cross the North Channel but now seem to be getting pushed back towards the Mull with 4 hours of the ebb still to run.

EDIT: anchor down and holding now by the look of it.

Strange way to go from Gigha in this forecast. Directly North to Crinan - with lots of bays to stop off in between - would seem to have made more sense
i wondered about that, esp as SE wind last night. maybe they have a mate in Craighouse? W in the wind from 1400ish. tide going N from about 0500.

It's hard to work out what's going on today - hope they don't have a problem. They didn't use this morning's North-going tide and following breeze and have now re-anchored close in to Craighouse. Will have to wait for an FB update.
