Anybody with experience of Hong Kong sails? your comments on them would be appreciated. Value, fit, durability etc. Thanks.

I bought my boat in H.Kong in 1989 and the sails came from several local lofts.
The one that has seen the most use is a nº 4 staysail with hanks.It was made in 1980 and is still going strong.The shape is still quite good and the stitching is very strong and well done.
I understand that Hong Kong sails were priced very competitively in relation to the competition in H.Kong.
Whenever I have to sail upwind in strong winds thats the sail I use.

Bit heavy, bit flat, very durable. Excellent value if you don't want anything fancy.
