If you called upon a local diver to remove a rope from the prop, replace anodes or clean your hull would you ask to see his Public Liabilty Insurance?
As HWMBO spends most of his spare time on the boat in the Marina he quite often gets called upon to attend to the above. The Marina have now asked to see his Public Liability Insurance, which he doesn't have.
I have called my Insurance Broker but they can't help. We can get PLI to work on the boats out of the water, but as soon as you mention diving they don't want to know.
Can anyone help?
