Once you have hot water on board, you will be surprised at how much you use. I found just washing dishes, before I had to boil a kettle, now I use more water as I fill the bowl. Fit the largest calorifier, you will not regret it.

And also ask what are the dimensions OVER the insulation as sizes given tend to be the cylinder size. I had to cut a 'vee' shape from my new calorifier so I could get it through the hatch opening. Glued it back on after final fitting.

That looks interesting. Do you have a link to the supplier?
I got from within the EU, so beware ;)

The spout is pressed on, hold in place by an O-ring only, on our version.
Not a problem, you just need to take care if turning and twisting the spout while running at full 💦

Having previously had a couple of 40l tanks current boat is 25l and too small really. Not only do you get less hot water to start with but it cools down noticably quicker.

In the caravan its 10 litres heated to 80deg and we manage as it needs a lot of cold water adding to be safe.
On the boat its 75 litres heated to 80deg by the engine and there is more hot water than we need.
In the house its 300 litres heated by the sun to 60deg and we can have many baths ;)
