BBC news has just said a sailor has died after a wave hit his vessel in the English channel! Is this the same incident?
the LB was called @ 05.30 ish.
that video it was daylight & the yacht had power
the LB skipper had great skill comming along side as he did & controlling the inisial tow.
also no 5m swell
I've been thinking that as well! Who knows?Perhaps someone who uses twitter (what ever that is) could go on there & invite him to this forum to give us an explanation of his plans & intentions. Could be interesting.

I know vid is always deceptive, but with the exception of the view over the LBs bow early on, those conditions really look like wind over tide in the Solent.
Bit more than that but point taken. Must have been a very weak crew if they couldn't handle such conditions.
