Its not difficult to guess where as their logo is clearly visible on the first picture - but I got to see our new sails and meet a nice sailmaker.

He never has to advertise as I am told all his custom is from word of mouth. I have used his sails on other boats and I've always been impressed with them. Several friends use them but its the first time we've ordered from him for our boat. (Like most cruising people we don't buy sails as often as we should.)

We had a new suit of laminates delivered from this very loft two weeks ago. Looking forward to getting out and having a go with them next month! They certainly look the business. And the standard of service- including turnaround time- was exceptionally good.

a rather tardy response - working and then Mothers Day got in the way !

I have been managing the marina at Berthon, or at least trying to, for the past four and a half years. I havent really posted about it on here because I didnt want up to 5000 forumites coming in and asking "I know moodyNick, do I get a discount?" !

However, I am leaving at the end of April to pursue other opportunities, so I dont care if you all know about it !

Will still be living in Lymington, so please do let me know if you are down again.

Nick, thanks for the explanation. I haven't had any reason to come into Berthon for several years. I'm in the middle of trying to decide whether to order yet more sails from Sanders. I'll let you know if I come down again.
