For you a lot of extra miles getting to the place. The road from Battlesbridge is vey slow...

In the middle of nowhere...

Depending on which berth you get you may have to moor up in a cross tide... interesting?

A swinging mooring is okay there, the staff are very good, and the marina has a decent bar which does good food. However, I'd agree with Tomahawk's comments, and there are plenty of options on the north side of the river that are easier to get to.

Maybe look at Burnham Marina. If you get someone to recommend you there is a £400 credit to the friend (which I am sure most folks would split with you)

We once had a small motor boat at Essex Marina and the cross tides were very significant, especially on the outer western side. Its more suitable for Motor boats with twin engines.
