Dufour 32 Classic - holding tank

Hi, I need to fit a holding tank into my Dufour 32Classic - any ideas where best to fit it? - thx. Peter

Is there not a Dufour owners club who can advise? We’re tanks fitted originally at build stage ? Surely your tank supplier might also give guidance?

First try and find out if a holding tank was offered as an option and then replicate that. However given the age of the boat that may not be possible. Looking at the layout a gravity tank located in the cockpit locker on the other side of the bulkhead behind the loo would probably work. Quite a lot of surgery involved as the loo compartment seems to be a GRP moulding.

Suggest you look on this site as it has plenty of information on designing holding tank systems to help you understand how the alternatives work. It may well be that they have already done an installation on your type of boat.
