I remember seeing her moored on the breakwater of Port St Charles marina here early last year - she was here for some time.
I doubt that she loaded her cargo on board here though - a friend who has a fully paid sub to Marinetraffic later told me that he saw her (on Marinetraffic) do a little 'diversion' along the way, on her route from here to Britain. Maybe the authorities in Britain were made aware of this as well - maybe the Kahu crew forgot that their AIS transmitter was still switched on.....
Even if you can buy her for a song, her operating costs will be enormous - she will need a full crew complement, all with the proper qualifications and STCW tickets, and the cost of filling those tanks to give her 5,000 miles of range would be fairly eye watering, even if you filled them up in the Channel islands.

I downloaded the details. Built in 1979 in steel in China. Tarted up in New Zealand in 2012. Looks like lipstick on a pig to me. Perfect for an impoverished Oligarch to get back cheaply into the club of superyacht ownership.
