Picked up a FloGas 4.5kg butane cylinder yesterday. Its yellow in colour, 240mm diameter and 371mm high. The base is the same diameter as the body. It looks like the later version of the Calor gas cylinder, and takes a 21mm snap on connection.
Also on offer was a blue version that looks like...
Just a thought - does the seller have the right to sell the boat? You say "it came withe the property". Was it specifically included in the sale? If not, it is possible the executors were not aware of its existence. It is even possible that the boat didn't belong to the deceased - might have...
Looks a lot like Shanty's cradle, which was made by Tennamast - Tennamast Yacht Cradles Boat Trailers and Masts UK. Very helpful folk, and worth a call.
Recently did that job on a Miele fridge. The new seal from Miele came with fitting instructions, and the job was straightforward.
One slight mystery - the instructions mentioned screws holding the seal in place. None on the fridge, and none supplied with the new seal, so I added a few 1/2" s/s...
Looks like you already have two holes in the vertical web of the tabernacle that could take shackles.
Failing that, replace the two bolts on the aft flange of the tabernacle with eyebolts,
Many years ago the RYA produced a publication called "Boat Safety Handbook" which, amongst other things, gave recommendations for fire extinguishers. These were varied depending on the type of sailing planned. Don't know if its still available - my copy is 20 years old.
A further thought -...
If moving the red line does't solve the problem, phone Beta Marine direct. I know from personal experience that they are incredibly helpful, all the more so if this engine is still under warranty.
I wonder about the joint between the hull and the skeg. Is that water definitely coming from the rudder stock tube, or from the joint? It looks as though the skeg was a separate moulding attached to the hull. There is the possibility that the attachment has been compromised.
I would suggest...
That's pretty much what I did - small 12v battery with a couple of leads - connect to each pair of wires at the base of the mast, and look for light.
However, I did include an inline fuse in the positive lead. An accidental short across the battery could result in some fairly spectacular...
If you have removed the engine & shaft, you should be able to access the inboard end of the stern tube. Measure it's internal diameter. Compare this with the ID of the outboard end. If they are the same, you are cutting into the shaft tube. Outboard end smaller - you have the shell of some sort...
As PaulRainbow says, the filter should go before the pump. Filters work best when fluid is drawn through them, rather than pushed in to them. Pulling gives the filter a relatively smooth flow. Pushing gives the filter the turbulence generated by the pump.
