Dinghy footpump parts

Hi,

Anyone have an idea where I could source (from within the UK) one of these. It is the piece which joins the pump tube to the body of the footpump. The spigot has broken off, as per images....

The spigot has an external diameter of 17mm, and the thread that screws into the pump body has a diameter of 37mm

I know I can buy an entire pump in the UK, and can buy tube with end fittings from the EU, but the latter is no longer economic due to tax......, the former a waste.....

Some spares kits are available from UK chandleries:

• Bravo Pump Spares Set (SP25) | Force 4 Chandlery
• Bravo Pump Spares Set (SP14) | Force 4 Chandlery
• Bravo Pump Spares Set (SP23) | Force 4 Chandlery

I doubt you'll be able to get just that plastic collar on its own.

In my experience these parts are rubbish - the tube itself splits and mine has had to be repeatedly reglued with araldite or epoxy.

Which pump has that part then as you might find someone who has a broken pump but spigot in one piece?

As this is PBO I would look at finding a new longer spigot of the correct diameter and drilling out the threaded part so that the spigot is a tolerance fit. Nothing to lose as it is broken.

Superglue, was my friend, for now. When it fails next time it will be a new pump.
