Windlass solenoids

I read with interest the thread on the windlass solenoid sticking syndrome. Tiggers has suffered from it too. Fortunately on the "off" position. I was thinking of buying one a a replacement/spares (I am not impressed by the one currently fitted) and have found something like THIS advertised on eBay. Do you think it is likely to be suitable?

Looks like it may do the job.

Would like to find out the max current rating and if the coils are continuous rated.

Replaced one earlier this year, just dropped into the local auto electrical work shop, explained what it was used for and they came back to me the next day with nice heavy duty version and some additive to spray on after fitting.

Have you spoken to your local auto sparky?
