Vetus M3.10,

Any feedback on Vetus M3.10, 3 Cylinder diesel, Bought boat with one fitted, very low hours, anything to watch out for? Also could do with manual for same. What like for running costs etc?

The Kubota engine they are based on has a good reputation.

I see in another posting that Chippie says this engine is based on a Kubota. However, my M3.10, wich is 12 years old, is based on a Mitsubishi engine. Mine is still running very well indeed and I have no complaints. It is easy to maintain and I have had no problem getting parts. Oil, oil filter and belt are obtainable from your local car accessory shop.
