Zeus 3 software update

New ish new to me yacht has a Zeus 3 (of about 2020 age) running version 66.1.9 software. The B&G Companion app says the latest available is 71.1.22.

Does anyone here have any experience of Zeus 3 software updates, in particular 71.1.22, who could advise me of the merits and/or pitfalls of software updating on a Zeus 3.

It is early days for me, but so far I have not noticed anything not working. The basics I have been using to date all appear good.

I also have a Zeus 3s installed though have yet to check the software version on that one.

Usually on older units like these the updates just add support for new accessories. I’ve not had problems with updates on my Vulcan or Zeus3s and they update automatically via starlink whenever something is available.
