upgrade to Prinnie 460

Seriously considering selling the V40 and getting a princess 460 flybridge

Any one any experience of what they are like and what to look out for?

A good alround family boat, I have worked on the older but same 440, with cats in, good engines later 460 will have 430 or 480 volvos, the 74p is just about 480 hp but only just, bow and stb side cab ok, port cab a bit of a squeeze, saloon great, no need for davits, as platform large enough for big rib, wait for after trade ins from SBS bound to pick up a bargain, although P Yachts have lods of stuff they cant get rid of as its an old model, dont pay more than about 220 k.

I dont have first hand experience but the 440/460 has a v. good reputation as a sea boat. With 3 cabins, its a lorra lorra boat for the money. I'd go for one with the Cat 3208 440hp diesels, if you can find one, rather than the Volvos 72's. I know a couple of people who had spectacular engine failures with the Volvos in a 440 although that might be coincedental
