Tiptoe, Washed up at Southend

So sad to see this Yacht, “Tiptoe” washed up on the beach Southend. It has been there now for 5 weeks. Photos from fb Group I follow.
I remembered Tiptoe from a video posted by Dylan Winter being tacked along the River Roach 5 years ago (shown 2 minutes in on the video). Such a shame to see it end up like this.

Yes I saw if a few weeks ago and wondered what had happened. My pic below was taken on 10 Jan 2023

I owned Tiptoe about 18 years ago. I bought her from the Blackwater she is a Crystal 23. She was white and called Peridot at the time and was not in great shape. I restored her and re sprayed her blue and renamed Tiptoe. We moved up in size of boat and I sold her to another member who was new to sailing and as far as I know they decided sailing was not for them and sold it on, that’s were I lost track of the owners. It’s a sad sight seeing any boat like this but especially when it was once yours.

I haven’t been down to Southend to see, so I’m not sure.

It was still on the beach a couple of days ago although the mast has disappeared.
