Used it - and liked it - for a few years while it was free. Moved on to XCweather when Theyr started charging.

Probably that was when they used to offer discounts to RYA members. Like others they used to make claims that could not be substantiated. They did the usual WRF trick of running a detailed forecast with no detailed weather data input.
But now they are offering a global service so are probably using the US GFS. They talk about AI. I take that with a big pinch of salt.
