Hi
Just interested in touching base with an Irish motorboater. Was interested in your new boat choice , are you a Sealine fan or did you consider anyother marques before you chose ??

Hi Tim,
Purchased S28 for looks, performance and adequate room for occasional overnighting. Only new to boating so I wasnt aware of the difference between shaft and sterndrives.
We learned how to handle the sterdrives (a doddle) and discovered the beauty of all year boating. Mistake made was no heating and S28 is open cruiser. Spent most of the time with canvas up.
We set about looking for a replacement. Needed something warm. Do not like flybridge boats. Sterndrive no problem. Might as well move up one or two sizes. The answer seemed to be the C39. We were happy with Sealine, excellent after sales. What clinched the deal was the trade in.
Order signed. Deposit paid. C39 on the way.
Regards,
Michael.
