I used to see sprayhood kits advertised years ago and I know one guy who bought one and in fact it turned out quite good on his Centaur. Are they still sold ? Any good ? Easy to sew etc ?

My SR25 sprayhood has survived for many years but has finally given up. It no longer sits straight / level between frames - it has a serious valley. It takes a real effort to clip into position as it appears material has shrunk a touch. The 'windows' have cracked and broken now after hardening with age.

We used to have a Canvas Service lass locally - but she's retired and the remaining people in Riga are already loaded up with orders and no interest to drive 3 hours to my boat to measure up etc. I contacted another who 'dabbles' in this work .... he's looked - measured .... no promises ... but in any event of he does do the job - I will need move boat to his 'Boat Park' down the coast. If I was in good health - OK ... but with present condition - I will have to wait to Spring next year.

Not aware of anybody supplying kits, although you can get all the materials from Hawke House or Kayospruce to make your own. Having watched mine being designed and made to suit existing frame I appreciate how much work involved. Day to discuss basic design and measure up then half day 2 people to pattern and a day to fit. Those who have DIY (like graham376 and Benereau381) report between 10-12 days solid work.

My end result including cockpit cover - which made the sprayhood more complicated than normal.
