So weather has been crap, but have you

Brooms (and others) got this sussed some time ago. Did away with inside helms leaving oodles of space below and a sports cruiser type cockpit at a similar height to a flybridge....but with the option of shelter or fresh air. Just saying :)

Been on Brooms and love them, very practical. However, they're just not sporty enough looking for me (how shallow of me), and I can have sometimes up to 10 people on-board, so the sports cruiser lay-out works for me as we're all on the same level and I can keep an eye on people.

(Yes, 10 people on-board (with everyone up in the cockpit) is still not cramped on the Cranchi Smeraldo 37... the wide beam really helps)

Last time I set foot on a boat (other than a commercial ferry) was....Nov 5 2014, when I had the pleasure of seeing powerskipper who had - iirc - just delivered a twin-engine boat from Poole to Hamble on one engine and was looking a bit cold. :D

We have had a great year so far and it is far from over yet.
