I always remove the nozzle and stretch cling film accross the end excluding the air. It has worked over a period of several weeks but can't comment about longer periods. Mike

Now that *is* a good tip. Any ideas on how to smuggle it past my wife? My reputation with her has hardly recovered since I brought a motor-cycle into the house in bits 25years ago.

Had the same issue when I was told to put my deck shoes in the freezer to kill the smell.

It worked but they needs to be well hidden...

Polyurethane sealants are moisture curing, so putting them in the fridge may slow the process a little, but is probably not worth the trouble and strife!
Best to place in air tight container with silica gel sachets available from Jessops etc for keeping cameras and lens dry.(can be dried and reused)
