Tips/tricks to ease removal of rubber hose from sea water pump

Every days a schoolday. Got to winteris my new to me S34. Been reading up what to do and was concerned the pipe may not come off easily. I was then going to ask what the tool in the video is called, but just googled it. I won't be doing mine untill the end of the month when the boat gets lifted out of the water. Where there is no shore power so the foredeck crew's hairdryers won't work
You could get a 12v one.

Have often run antifreeze through the seawater system via muffs on the sterndrive Volvo 4 and 6 cylinder diesels.
There is a circular water pick up hole lower front of drive that needs plugging prior to flushing

You could also use this tool. Depending on access of course, but seems to work in almost any situation. About 1:30 into the video.

I could make one of those with an old screwdriver and a induction heater

Hi All, just a quick update in case anyone is interested. In the end I had great success using a hairdryer and a small oil filter wrench with a rubber belt. I heated the pipe for 5 mins with the hairdryer then used the oil filter removal tool to first twist the pipe to break the seal and then used it to grip the pipe and then push the pipe down. I have very little room between the engine and the bulkhead but the extra leverage from the tool meant i had the pipe off in about 1 min. The rubber belt from the tool gripped the warm rubber pipe easily. Here is the tool I used https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B097HJSKWK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
