I've been asked if I can find a drawing of a Debutante, searches across the length and breadth of the internet have drawn a blank.

Any ideas of how or where to obtain a good quality drawing would be appreciated.

Ken, you could try Tucker Designs, run by his son Tony, but I'm sure they will charge - but they are likely to be study plan quality.

This site has good photo's of Sea Dart (Tristan Jone's Debutante) but I couldn't find any line drawings in it, or Tristan's books. You could try the Tristan Jones site, But I haven't checked there yet. I will see if there is anything in my old Yachting Monthly's or Bristows.

Hi Ken
Don't know what sort of drawings you're after but let me know if it's something I can help out with , or just call in and bring a pencil yourself /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Let me know if you do and I'll make sure the barn's unlocked /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Of course Sea Dart is a modification to the original design

there was one for sale on the east coast - just good boats - this one is a mark one - a bit lighter than the mark 2 I believe -

a previous owner trailed her to the med -

Sixpence has a fancy interior - if he will tell you where the pics are

this summer at Itchenor - dusk - good berths and flat deck gives big interior.

A big advantage is the relatively light loads generated by the rig so they are easy to sail - and forgiving - rounds up when over pressed. Can be sailed downwind with both headsails poled out -

Proper yachts with sansom post etc etc puts the miles away if given the chance - and I could go on and on -

if someone else has got one would love to see pictures
