I'm thinkng of fitting an inline priming bulb between the tank and fuel filter.
Is there any downside to doing this that I should consider?

. . . Just buy a decent one, not a 50p Ebay one![]()

The Quicksilver ones, for instance, seem like good quality and last well. Or, buy one from the likes of Peugeot or Citroen etc, they fitted tens of thousands of them. But how do you know if the one you're buying is decent quality? I suspect that at least some of the name brands are exactly the same thing except dearer.
That style does work, i have one on each engine just like it.And can anybody tell me whether this sort of thing might be suitable instead? (One review of the same thing from another supplier mentioned it replacing one on a tractor.)
