Musto Jackets

Whatever happened to Javlin Jackets and Wellies....?

presumably someone bought them out, or did they just close?

I'm surprised that such a powerful brand died out like it did.

It's not like we dont buy jackets and wellies anymore, and they didnt see it coming.

Tried sending a message through their web site and it failed, so phoned the number shown, there is a new company at that address and they told me that Javalin went bust about four years ago. Shame really, I got quite excited about the possability of getting a new jacket

Musto snug jackets and other nautical clobber can be had to advantage (i.e one third to half off list price) on occasion at TK Maxx discount stores (ask your local teenage daughter/neice/neighbour).

They are labelled 'last year's style' which is not a problem for me: water, wind etc are the same this year as last.

Chris

PS TK Maxx is teenage chav central, may not suit sailors of an apoplectic disposition
