My 5-year-old Raymarine P70R autopilot control head has misted up and no longer works. It's outside (up top) but despite its rubber cover and being covered up with canvas when not in use, the damp must have got in somehow. The other one down below is fine.
I have removed it from the boat and have dismantled it to dry it out and see what I can do to avoid the £300+ replacement cost.
Can anyone give me some hints for restoring the thing to working order?
