Tucked inside Dec edition of MBY which arrived to day, a 6 A4 page, 68 section (some of the sections have over 40 questions in them!) survey. You know the sort of thing. How often do you buy it, what do you earn, what car do you drive, what boat do you own.

Funny thing is, some of the questions in the survey were dedicated to whether or not you do your own maintenance on the boat, and if you do , is it because you're a skint tight bugger.

How many readers of what is a fairly upmarket magazine, who pay someone to do all the maintenance on the boat, are going to fill in a 6 page survey?

The results are going to be a real laugh!!

What another bloody survey? Was'nt there one in MBM only a couple of months ago and being part of the same group, you would have thought they could have shared it. This one's going straight in the bin as far as I'm concerned unless there's a fab prize of course

Well spotted Batman. So it does. So even if we did sit down and fill in 6 pages of questions....no chance of winning a bleedin thing!

I also can't find the income bracket that is low enough for me and many of the questions seem repeated.

Just filled it in cos I could do with some sun specs and I reckon that I may be the only respondant.....the future of motorboat mags as we know them may depend on me.

Sorry Nick, I didn't spot this thread and your post when I included the 16th October problem in my post on the smallest issue!

I must book up an appointment with my dentist and fill in the questionaire in the waiting room.

Its the only time I ever see MBY now together with all the other glossy fodder.

Now my guess is that there is only 1 pair of Bolle Sunglasses up for grabs for filling the survey in either MBM or MB&Y. Not 1 pair for each Mag!!!

I filled in and returned the questionaire when it came out in MBM, So i at least have a chnce of winning them/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif/forums/images/icons/cool.gif
So do you think if i fill in the 1 i recieved last night, it will give me a better chance of winning.? Or has the closing date actually passed?

Can you tell us Kim, If it is still worth our valueable time to fill it in?
And if so would i be entered twice to win the glasses?

So maybe i have double the chance of winning them than a lot of you on here./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Cheers..

Alistair..

Sunglasses

I actually bought some Bolle Sunglasses earlier this year and the frames fell out so I took them back and the shop loaned me another pair while they sent them back to bolle. Three weeks later and still no sign of them I was informed that the lenses were scratched and would I like them replaced at a cost of 50 quid. No says I. Just repair them or replace them and send them back. They say they cannot replace because they have no stock so I get replacement (slightly different design from shop. I know I could have done that in the first place but I preffered my first choice)

Any way new ones have lost the blue coating in the centre of the lens after only part of one summer so I am obviously too hard a customer for Bolle sunglasses. Funny though I have had other "expensive" sunglasses and they all performed far better than this till I lost them.

So I will start a best Sunglasses thread.
