We are running short of entries for Motor Boat & Yachting's monthly readers' photo competition so the chance of winning a free bottle of gin is even better than usual.

All you have to do is email an attractive high resolution photograph you've taken showing some or all of your boat with a pretty backdrop to mby@futurenet.com

The winning image will be published in the magazine and the sender will receive a free bottle of Mermaid Gin worth £41.

If you haven't already tried Mermaid, it's properly delicious and one of my personal favourites so get sending those photos!

Hope the bottle turns up if you win! Friend of mine had the photo published and the promised bottle of rum never turned up.
After a number of reminders over the past 12 months she was informed this week that it was nothing to do with MBY but the Rum sponsors.
Poor show and disappointing.

That was almost my experience, although I got my rum eventually, very good it was too. And previously a handy little radio. Worth sending the pics in if the prizes turn up.
