Bother, I had got permission for the weekends 9/10 and 12/24 but I could swop for 16/17 for the cost of a dinner I anticipate.
Where are you based? being in Chi we find a beamer each way to Fecamp is less wearing than a stiff beat to windward to Cherbourg in a SW at this time of the year. I don't suppose we would be as lucky as the b-----s seem to be this weekend with the weather.

Hi Brian 16th sounds pretty good to me, swmbo will sign a pass for the 2nd, but I've got a few jobs to do at home that may buy me a couple of extra days away.
We're based on the Beaulieu, let's keep an eye on the weather and talk destinations next week.
