Actually Mel does , only last year he fixed an edc fault with his boat that I spent a little time checking over for him .
As I’ve said before and I will say it again , this forum is turning into a right load crap these days , the place would be a lot better if people thought a bit more before they typed .
In the last few weeks I have discussed with others via pm calling it a day on this forum , If many others did that then there would be no place left for us to help each other with our problems with boats , I’ve loved every minute I’ve spent on here buy boy I am getting fed up reading people’s posts throwing there toys out there prams And trying to bring others down .
The crap some of you guys are writing is just plain stupid , if you must feel the need to rant at someone do it direct via PM.

Yep, mine have been working until today, eventually got round to phoning the marina and asked one of the guys to go and switch them off, and while he was onboard had a look around to check everything was ok, no water in bilges, deck scuppers/drains not blocked, all internal doors open etc etc.

Putting aside the stroll to the boat , from a safety point of view you had a valid point .

plus this forum USED to be a very helpful and informative forum , its turned into Facebook mentality in my opinion .

I will also add last week I was servicing a boat and while there around 2pm the eberspacher started up on its own , I phoned the owner and he asked me to cancel the daily programme . Being MDL Marina there is no possibility of owner being able to attend his boat .
