Just to open the 2026 "things that worked and now dont" list: the horn is not blaring anymore. When I press "horn" the fuse trips.

Now this looks like the compressor is stuck but where it is ? We tried to listen for it, we hear a "click" when the compressor tries to start but we cannot locate it.

Boat is a Azimut 55 (flybridge), I was thinking maybe is in the console in the fly ? Or somewhere in the engine room ?

Alternative is to follow the pressure tube from the arch which is a royal pain like anything when it comes to panels in a boat.

On my 42, the compressor is in the lazerette, mounted to the bulkhead, port of the port engine Racor fuel filter. It was the same on my 39. The hose heads straight up to the radar arch.

if you could disconnect the hose from the horn end and poke some thing like strimmer nylon cable down it, as far as it would go that gives you how far away the compreser is but not the position so half a solution I am afraid

On our Azi 42 the compressor for the horn is behind a panel on the fly bridge on the starboard side, this panel is on the inside of the side rising section that goes up to the radar arch if that makes sense? Best pic I can find to give you an idea. Hope it helps🤞
