Are we in danger of seeing paper mags disappear, or will advertising pick up again?

Regional news papers in the US are taking a beating from lost ad sales to Google and CraigsList but I think leisure mags on non techno subjects like YM will endure. My copy of YM is a medium term luxury buy that I return to multiple times in a 6 month period, quite unlike a daily local newspaper purchased mainly for scanning classified ads.Are we in danger of seeing paper mags disappear, or will advertising pick up again?

I hope the Nov issue is better than October's.
Oct 09 was a notable bad issue, what was that learning from experience piece about crossing the North Sea? "We set off with a bad forecast, it got a bit bumpy then we arrived.". The average blog entry from Gupta or Morgana is better written and 10 times more entertaining.

Oh great, is the forum tail wagging the editorial dog's body? Please confirm there is not a photo of a melting iceberg anywhere in the November issue?Don't worry you can look forward to a nice article on ANCHOR'S![]()
