He said little of nothing about saving the planet but was fed up with the smell of a diesel engine and said the compromise and performance suited him, which I think is fair enough.

The battery weight is greatly offset by not having an engine or fuel onboard. The fuel weight saving was not mentioned so I thought I would check it out. T'interweb came up with this AI generated gem:

So much for Artificial Intelligence taking over the planet.

Close. The fuel is about 40kg the tank could be anything but lets say another 20 with pipes. So 132lb which I guess is almost 2100 in someones universe.

ChatGPT doesn’t know anything and the old ones couldn’t do maths so the answer was simply the statistically most likely words to answer the question. Presumably 2100 pounds is a common weight for things.

Yes I instinctively used US gallons because it's the only time I refer to them these days. Still better than AI though! 😂
