Do you have a Barometer on your boat ?

Yes have invested in a Wempe version as felt loss without one but tend to only record on channel crossings . A watch based one tends to be more handy though for regular use.

My £1.63 new barometer now all up and running thanks to this thread, cheers

I have a Lidl weather station that does everything you ask for. It seems reasonably accurate when compared with values from the weather app on my phone and are a hellava lot cheaper than "proper ones.

I don't use it for my normal Solent pottering, but keep an hourly log on longer passages.

I've got three and make a record of the calibrated one every hour on passage and more irregularly at anchor.
I also download NOAA GRIBs every 24 hours on the .05 scale and from them derive my own local forecasts.
I've found all sites inaccurate (because of their minute scales), with the honourable exceptions of the UK Met office and MeteoFrance for their home waters. Windfinder is vaguely right on wind directions.

My Android phone and my Android table both measure Barometric pressure. I have the app called "Barometer Monitor" that displays a graph. My sailing watch also can measure pressure and display a graph. I rarely use the brass one in the saloon, but SWMBO prefers it!
