Depth transducer and amplifier for Silva Star

Anybody got a depth transducer and amplifier for a Silva Star sea data depth sounder, used or old stock. They no longer manufacture them. Alternatively is there another one that would work?

Having checked I have the amplifier but no transducer.

I am no electronics expert but I understand that many transducers work on the same frequency and are often interchangeable between manufacturers.

Not sure about amp though. I think the amp circuit is built into the display.

I have an old transducer but not sure if it works. You are welcome to it for cost of postage to try out.

I did try to test it in a water tank to listen for clicks but could not detect any .
