Curtis Marine Insurance

Hi, does anyone have any experience of Curtis Marine insurance, good or bad particularly in the event of a claim.

I have my work and boat insurance through them (but different insurance companies). Efficient to deal with, timely renewal reminders etc.

Because the are a broker, they don't deal with the actual claim, so that process will depend on who you end up insured with.

Very good, not so competitive on some commercial stuff (I don't think they really want that work) but privately I've used them for years and find them very well priced and pleasant to deal with. Did a like for like quote with Towergate this season and Curtis were 30% cheaper for the same cover. Not had to make a claim but I know others who have and whilst only brokers they've nevertheless been helpful.
