Recently got my day skipper, and have a 19 ft. bilge keeler, but I've not been sailing long, and I am still a bit nervous about sailing singlehanded, so I am looking for experience. If anyone can crew for me for the odd day, or let me crew for them ditto, I would be very grateful. Preferably west coast Scotland.

Sounds ideal......if you ever find yourself on the south coast I'm your man.

I got my day skipper a few years ago, then bought a boat which needed more work than anticipated so spent the best part of 2 years doing her up! When she went back in the water I'd lost a bit of confidence, and was a bit nervous at first, especially as I sail mostly singlehanded.

The only way to get confidence is just to do it. Take your time with everything, and plan as much as possible, and go for it.

If you're ever on the east coast, let me know, and we can arrange something.

Good luck

Rich
