Thanks, Graham. They say every good academic has a book in him/her. Got that out of my system 25 years ago with my research for a masters degree at Lancaster. Took over my life for a year to produce the dissertation. However I found writing self indulgent but if you want to publish you need to consider readers and maintaining interest is a challenge. So, little snippets like the above on specific subjects are much more satisfying!
