Just got back from the boat and decides to mow the lawn, after three weeks away it needed it. So gets the tractor out. Its all blocked up and one bits bent.

Today I think I'd better strim round the edges. Not that I felt like doing it of course.

Now the strimmer is new, only used it once, on account of the last new strimmer got nicked. So thinking. Last time I put the new strimmer together. Mixed a whole gallon of two stroke. So it would be an easy job to do a bit of strimming. The fuel tank was empty. No bother I thinks. Look for gallon of two stroke. None. Look for five gallon can of petrol to mix some. Gone! And the cars in the garage having the exhaust pipe welded back together. Oh yes we could have mended the exhaust our selves. Just not able to pick the car up!!

Now when I go to the boat. Only me is allowed to use anything, mainly on account of Tutts not being very interested in two stroke fuel and such. So everything is just where I left it!!**?></forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Ever thought about an LPG conversion on the strimmer. I'm sure those 'blow lamp' gas cartridges would do the job.

Not sure how you'd cope with the oil mix part though.

Haydn, I know the feeling, mate. I've taken to padlocking everything at home to stop theiving bastards (yes, thats you Chris) nicking my tools, ladders, car and bike maintanance paraphanalia and charging £5 deposit refundable against return of said items. SWMBO goes ballistic but it's worth it
