My wife gets exasperated when we are measuring up for something and I say 17"x 250mm

As my eyes age ( at the same alarming rate as the rest of me) I now tend to use whichever unit is nearest a big mark on the tape measure

We all know that the thickness of 8' X 4' sheets of ply is measured in millimetres.

Except that some ply (including Robbins marine ply) now come in 2500*2440 which is approx 8' 2 3/8" * 4'

I've never known ply of 2500 X 2440. Not saying you're wrong, but it seems improbable.

.... that site is a U.S. site (Virginia) so it's hardly surprising they are using imperial measurements.

Measurements should be in metres to 2 decimal places. e.g. 13.56 not 13.6 ......
