I saw test driving an Atlantis 20 on Sunday coming back from Herm.

FYI Atlantis 20 is the new boat built in Guernsey.

The dude with sticky up hair from the Tweenies I think. Saw classic episode with Max out on a Fairline Sprint on Cbbc recently. Not to be missed for the under five boating enthusiast. My girls loved it !!

Nick

My boat is here in time for winter....

Re: Dishing up Sauce

aaahhh...but you see nautigirl, dishing up sarcy is ok if we know a little bit about you and we know a LOT about clive but nautinautigirl's only got next to nuffink in profile except 'regular' and that after only 16 posts.........
so you see mon petit you have to be a little bit more involved then you'd realise that clive was taking the mick a bit 9or maybe even not at all) and not trying to upset you....you asked who Jake was and he told you.....whats wrong wiv that then?
Actually, Im very grateful to him for putting me straight cos I thought Jake was something to do wiv Rolfe Harris......../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

So you think it might be sarc and double sarc do you? Nah! Nice of you to leap to your friends defence but Im not convinced. More likely Clive got out wrong side of bed this morning and then forgot to take his humor pill with the Kelloggs So has a go at me. Blokes!!

Take your point about profile but put off by many which are so clearly written just to try and impress. Sad

Pardon, "written to impress", who? nobody gives a stuff who anybody is on here, we have paupers, princes, millionaires and un-employed and horror of horrors women!!, They all get slagged, fun poked at etc.

...ere, ang on, those who know me will testify that I never leap, in fact probably only marginally more capable than Byron of leaping at all........
No reason why other peeps profiles should stop you from letting us know a bit about your boating tendencies.......you could even have a piccie but not like paulineb's please........chatting up Forbsie might be amusing, as well...../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Re: Dishing up Sauce

How come I have I become eligible all of a sudden?

I was having lunch a few weeks ago with a rather loud friend of mine, Susan. We were in The White Swan at Twickenham overlooking my boat. During the 2nd bottle of wine this attractive and very elegant lady came and sat opposite me and during the following hour got more and more distressed at how loud Susan was getting. Later that evening, after pouring Sue into a train, I popped into a pub that I'd never been to, and there was this woman. We got chatting and ended up agreeing to have lunch that Friday.

I woke up the following morning with an ever-so-slight hangover and a vague memory of this conversation. I found her card in my wallet, Agneshka (Sp?) Rubenstein. Interesting name I thought.

When Friday arrives, glorious weather and we have lunch down the White Swan again on the terrace and there is Her Mum.

Now remembering this lady's name, I was very surprised to hear that her mother was absolutely broad Irish. Go Figure! Anyway, lunch was provided and after God-knows how much alcohol including a bottle of champagne (why do I keep doing that?) and her mother is slurring -

"Go on, Marry her! Go on, go on, go on..."

Exit stage left!!!
